RESILIENCE
COACHING

"We can't stop the waves. But we can learn how to surf." Jon Kabat-Zinn

Life can sometimes feel like an uphill climb—whether you’re carrying stress, navigating big changes, or feeling unsure of your next step. Resilience Coaching offers a supportive space to pause, reflect, and realign.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Resilience Coaching?

Blending evidence-based coaching and practical techniques with a compassionate, mind-body approach, I help you uncover what’s holding you back, build inner resilience, and reconnect with your sense of purpose. Together, we work towards practical shifts and lasting growth—so you can feel lighter, clearer, and more confident in your path forward.

What happens during a Resilience Coaching session?

During a session, you will be asked specific, tailored questions to better understand how you process experiences and store memories. The goal is to uncover limiting beliefs, conflicting parts, or unresolved patterns holding you back. Sessions may include body-mind techniques like guided meditation, EFT, NVC and personalised exercises. You might also receive homework to help build new habits between sessions.

How long are the sessions, and how often do they take place?

Each session lasts about 60 minutes and typically takes place every week or two. Sessions are offered online for your convenience. Because this work involves creating new neural pathways, which requires consistency, practice and accountability, I offer a discounted package of at least 6 online sessions to provide a safe, committed container. If you’d prefer to start more gradually, you’re welcome to book single sessions at the regular price.

What are the benefits of Resilience Coaching?

Potential benefits include improved emotional self-regulation, mental clarity, breaking old patterns, reduced stress, less reactivity, better decision-making, increased confidence, self-compassion, stronger personal boundaries, more confident communication, and more harmonious personal and professional relationships.

How is Resilience Coaching different from other approaches?

Resilience Coaching blends practical coaching tools with deeper emotional and cognitive insight. Unlike therapy, which often focuses on diagnosing or treating mental health conditions, or traditional life coaching, which is future-focused, this approach integrates cognitive, emotional, and somatic methods for a more holistic experience. Please note: Resilience Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health disorders or severe trauma.

What support is available between sessions?

While there is no formal support between sessions, you may receive exercises or “homework” to practice on your own, helping reinforce what was covered during the sessions and building new neural pathways.

What if I don’t see results?

Personal growth takes time and consistent effort between sessions. It is also important to acknowledge and celebrate small wins along the way. If progress feels slow, we can adjust the approach or explore alternative strategies. Clear communication is encouraged throughout the process, with regular reviews to track your growth.

How do I know if I’m ready for Resilience Coaching?

If you feel stuck, stressed, overwhelmed, or want to create positive change but don’t know where to start, Resilience Coaching may be a good fit. Being ready means you’re open to self-reflection and willing to try new approaches. You’re welcome to book a discovery call to find out more.

Who is Resilience Coaching not for?

Resilience Coaching is not suitable for those with diagnosed mental health disorders such as PTSD, complex trauma, eating disorders, addiction, OCD, or clinical depression. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical treatment.
